| Our Admission Process
Prior to admission,
information is obtained from you or your discharge planner. This will help our facility Admissions
Team determine whether or not we are able to meet the residents needs.
Once a determination is made, you or your discharge planner will be contacted by our
facility representative.
At the time of admission, considerable information is obtained from you and /or the
resident. This information will be used by our staff to get to know you as an individual
and will also be used to develop your plan of care. To ensure your comfort, an arrival
time will be arranged in advance
Daily Rates
The charge for routine care is based on your/the residents level of care.
Our
daily rates can be obtained from our Financial Services Representative.
Routine charges
include the following:
- Room and board
- 24 - Hour Nursing Services
- Restorative Nursing Services
- Social Services staff to assist our residents and families
- Nutritional Services. Our registered Consultant Dietician reviews all diet orders and is
a member of our interdisciplinary care plan team.
- Individualized activities under the supervision of a Certified Recreation Therapist
- Housekeeping and in-house Laundry services
- Maintenance of facility equipment
Payment for Services: Payment for your stay here can be made in
several ways:
Private Pay
Payment of Monthly charges are due by the 10th of each month.
Longterm Care Insurance
Residents are able to utilize their long term care insurance plans to help finance their
stay here. Please check with your plan representative regarding your particular plan and
what it covers.
Medicare Insurance
For those residents who meet approved criteria, their stay may be covered by Medicare,
a federal health insurance program for those who are 65 years or older, or certain
disabled residents under age 65.
The Social Security Administration provides information about this program and we have
also provided some information for you in this packet.
Medicaid Insurance
Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre is fully certified to provide intermediate care (ICF) and
skilled (SNF) nursing care to Medicaid (a state funded insurance program)
residents. The Department of Human Services has established criteria for Medicaid
recipients. The criteria are based on the medical and financial needs of the recipients.

Social Services:
- Assessment of social and emotional needs
- Assist residents and families through admission process
- Comprehensive discharge planning
- Resource planning for financial assistance
- Family support services
Housekeeping/Laundry Services:
- Services available seven (7) days a week
- Laundering of personal clothing
Other Services:
- Full service Beauty Salon and Barber Shop
